Tried and Tested: KeraStraight Moisture Enhance Shampoo, Conditioner and Moisture Mist

If you read my posts regularly then you will remember that I tried Kerastraight Volume Enhance range a few months ago. I just came back from my honeymoon in Asia in tropics so my hair got quite dry and unmanageable. As a result, I decided to try some other products from KeraStraight but this time from their Moisture Enhance range.

As my hair lacked moisture after 3 weeks in tropics I choose few products from the KeraStraight Moisture range as they focus on straightening and repair.

To start with I washed my hair with the KeraStraight Moisture Enhance Shampoo. It treats hair to a deliver hydration and to maximize the benefits and longevity of my KeraStraight treatment that I had at the beginning of December.

KERASTRAIGHT MOISTURE ENHANCE CONDITIONER 250ML

After I washed and rinsed my hair, it was time to apply some KeraStraight Moisture Enhance Conditioner. It contains essential hair care moisturisers, proteins and pro-vitamin B5 to hydrate and revitalise hair.

Lastly, once my hair was washed and towel dried I applied some KeraStraight Moisture Mist. This great product feeds your hair with incredible moisture without overloading. It also contains heat protection and delivers lightweight hold with remarkable softness to your hair.

Results:

I love my new KeraStraight Moisture Enhance range as after I used it my hair was frizz-free, shiny, smooth and looked extremely healthy.  What’s more, KeraStraight range is free from harmful chemicals you just know that it gets the best natural ingredients available.

Tried and Tested: Paul Mitchell new TEA TREE SCALP CARE range

As some of you might know, I love trying new beauty products. I recently discovered a great new TEA TREE SCALP CARE range from Paul Mitchell.

I have heard recently that healthy hair and its growth is dependent on a healthy scalp. The new Paul Mitchell’s Tea Tree Scalp Care range is designed to give you a thicker and fuller hair while at the same time slowing down the process of hair thinning.

I decided to try all 3 products from this range:

1. TEA Tree SCALP CARE ANTI-THINNING SHAMPOO. This great shampoo is sulfate-free and gently removes impurities to prime the scalp. It contains the Regeniplex blend consisting of Kakadu plum, pea peptides, clover flower, turmeric and ginseng to stimulate the scalp and provide fuller, thicker hair. Size: 300 ml.

2. TEA Tree SCALP CARE ANTI-THINNING CONDITIONER. This amazing lightweight conditioner not only smells great but it also detangles fine and fragile hair. The Regeniplex blend used in shampoo is also included in this strengthening product. Size: 300 ml.

3. TEA Tree SCALP CARE ANTI-THINNING TONIC. This product should be used twice a day in order to create an optimal scalp environment for thicker, stronger, fuller hair. This tonic also contains Regeniplex blend and its main aim is to help increase hair density and encourage healthy hair growth.

Result:

I’ve been using the whole range for 2 weeks and my hair definitely feels fuller and stronger. If you need to give your hair some extra boost than you should definitely try this scalp care range as a seasonal treat for your locks.

Tried and tested: KeraStraight Intense Boost Protein 30 Day Conditioning Treatment

As you probably remember, I recently tried a few haircare products from the KeraStraight Volume Enhance range. I liked them so much that I decided to try a signature KeraStraight Intense Boost Protein 30 Day Conditioning Treatment at Trevor Sorbie salon in Covent Garden in London.

Result:

I loved the results of my KeraStraight Intense Boost Protein Treatment. My hair feels stronger, healthier and is definitely more manageable now. KeraStraight treatment is a perfect solution for everyone who finds their hair hard to manage and wants to give their hair some intensive repair and boost. I would definitely want to try more KeraStraight treatments soon!

I have recently came a new range of haircare products called KeraStraight. As I straighten my hair quite often I decided to give it a go.

I used KeraStraight Volume Enhance Conditioner after shampooing my hair with the shampoo from the same range. It is made from a luxurious blend of natural conditioning ingredients, proteins and essential volumising ingredient pro-vitamin B5 in addition to the specially formulated KS Complex.

What I really loved about this conditioner was the fact that its natural ingredients help to detangle hair and protect it against breakage.

Once my hair was freshly washed, it was time to style it J I used the KeraStraight Style Root Lift Spray Gel. This product builds incredible body and strength. It has heat-activated proteins that expand within the structure of the hair as it dries, delivering extra volume, strength, hold and support.

Results:

All KeraStraight products are designed to maximise the longevity and benefits of KeraStraight treatments. Even though, I never had KeraStraight treatment, after I used the products, my hair looked thicker, fuller and seemed stronger. In addition it was straight, soft and manageable. As KeraStraight range is free from harmful chemicals you just know that it gets the best natural ingredients available.

I will definitely want to try some other KeraStraight products in the future!

Tried and Tested: Paul Mitchell’s Styling range and Oxygentix Acne Control Foundation

This week, I would like to introduce you to a few products from Paul Mitchell’s styling range in addition to Oxygentic foundation.

If you are reading my blog regularly then you should already know that I have become a massive fan of Paul Mitchell’s hair-care range thus I wanted to check if his styling range is as good as his shampoos and conditioners.

I ordered the following 4 styling products:

  • Paul Mitchell’s Flexible Style ‘Sculpting Foam’ – Enhances texture with long-lasting memory while at the same time it helps to control frizz. It also adds shine and balance moisture as it contains Hawaiian awapuhi which helps to prevent moisture loss. Its styling and bodifying agents combined with panthenol provide a touchable hold.
  • Paul Mitchell’s Express Style ‘Quick slip’ – Provides flexible hold, adds definition, conditions and helps protect hair as it contains some softening conditioners and UV protection. This amazing product left my hair looking and feeling healthy.
  • Paul Mitchell’s Express Dry ‘Stay Strong’ Hairspray – Strong-hold spray that offers the ultimate style support and provides maximum control and volume.

  • Paul Mitchell’s Express Dry ‘Dry Wash’- Dry Waterless Shampoo. Its dry formula instantly left my hair looking and feeling freshly washed.

I decided to try them during my recent trip to Paris. After I washed my hair, I applied Paul Mitchell’s Flexible Style ‘Sculpting Foam’ to the roots of my hair to lift them up and add some volume. I also applied a few drops of Paul Mitchell’s Express Style ‘Quick slip’ throughout the length of my hair and then I dried it. Once my hair was blow-dried, I applied some hairspray to keep it in place. It has some humidity-resistant ingredients to help fight frizz so even though it was 29 C degrees in Paris my hair remained bouncy and looked healthy during the day. As evidence, I am posting a couple of photos taken in the morning, in the afternoon and during the evening.

On our last day, I was too lazy to wash my hair and style it so I sprayed a bit of Paul Mitchell’s Express Dry ‘Dry Wash’-my lifeless hair, not only looked revived but also smelt lovely. What I really liked about it was that it has colourless formula which leaves no residue.

Verdict:

I really enjoy using Paul Mitchell’s products-they are cheaper than some other hair care ranges that I used to use and the same results. You need to try them!

Secondly, I would like to tell you about Oxygentix, the world’s most breathable foundation. Oxygenetix, known for its original breathable foundation launched its first treatment foundation product, Oxygenating Acne Control Foundation recently. It is clinically proven to treat acne. As I had a very stressful few weeks and got a few breakouts I was really looking forward to trying a sample of this foundation. As I worked for Christian Dior previously, I was loyal to their Capture Total Serum foundation for ages but the concept of breathable foundation intrigued me thus I decided to try it.

It took three years in the making and it is transfer and water resistant, which allows it to stay on for hours even in humid environments.The product should only be used until the acne has cleared, then the original Oxygenating Foundation should be applied.

Verdict:

I really like Oxygenetix Acne Control Foundation as it has a really light texture and medium coverage. Its natural components make it virtually a second skin and foundation doesn’t leave a ‘fake’ powdery residue on my face. Using skincare products to eliminate acne and then applying a heavy, nu-breathable foundation, is a step in the wrong direction. Oxygenating Acne Control Foundation will not only helped me to  conceal acne but also helped me to clear it. My face now looks fresh and young and the blemishes that I recently have seem like a bad dream that luckily ended.

Tried and tested: Paul Mitchell Color repair haircare, Help: Beautify skin supplement

This week I would like to tell you about Paul Mitchell’s Color Repair range and Help: Beautify Skin Supplement.

To start with, some of you might remember, I recently tried Paul Mitchell’s extra body range and I loved it. Just a couple of weeks ago I finally sorted out my hair before the wedding so when I had my blond highlights done, it was a no-brainer and I decided to try this range. All products were tested by an established, independent third-party laboratory.

I ordered a three-step system that promised:

I would recommend them to anyone especially if you are planning to have your hair coloured anytime soon then you should definitely try Paul Mitchell’s three-step hair-ritual. I am already looking forward to trying some styling products from his range.

Secondly, I would like to tell you about ‘help: beautify skin’-a daily jelly supplement for skin from Works with water.

I was certain that I wanted to try this supplement when I read about its formula and the effects I could expect. As all the brides do, I wanted to look my best during the wedding so I got 2 boxes consisting of 14 sachets (10g each). When I started taking the supplement, I was getting married in a less than 3 weeks so I took 2 sachets per day in the run-up to the wedding to give my skin a boost of nutrition. The jellies are really tasty and have a delicious apple flavour. They can be eaten straight from the packet or popped into the fridge and then eaten chilled. They are formulated to help achieve a healthy, glowing complexion from the inside out.

Verdict:

Tried and Tested: Paul Mitchell hair-care

This week I would like to tell you about Paul Mitchell’s hair-care. I normally use either Kerastase or Tony & Guy’s ranges but I wanted to try something new so I got some products from Paul Mitchell. As I have quite fine hair, I went for 4 products from Paul Mitchell’s Extra Body Range and 2 products from Extra Strength Range.

The products that I tested were:

Extra-Body Daily Shampoo – is a great volumizing shampoo that cleanses and adds a body to fine to normal hair.My hair smelt lovely and had a lovely, healthy shine after I used it combined with the conditioner from the same range.

Extra-Body Daily Rinse – is a great daily conditioner that de-tangles and adds volume to fine hair, leaving locks full of body and shine. In addition, it helps repair and prevent damage caused by blow-drying and styling.

Thicken-up styling liquid – is a great styling product that made my thin hair feel thicker. What’s more important, my hair bounced and looked healthy as it added some extra shine and definition to it.

I finished styling my hair with a great Extra-Body Firm Finishing Spray that fights frizz, boosts volume and adds shine. The ingredients such as panthenol and hydrolyzed wheat protein build body so my hair looked and felt thicker.

Secondly, I would like to tell you about 2 products from the Super Strong range:

Super Strong Daily Conditioner – its formula repairs and protects worn-down locks, leaving hair soft, smooth and moisturized. I would recommend it to anyone who wishes rebuild the internal structure of hair and get a soft and smooth hair.

Super Strong Treatment – it is a great treatment (should be used weekly) that strengthens and rebuilds troubled hair, improving elasticity and protecting from further damage. In addition, it made my hair more manageable and easier to style.

I would definitely try some more products from Paul Mitchell’s ranges as they made my feel look and feel beautiful. You should all give this brand a go-they have lots of different ranges to choose from.
